We wash it. We blow it. We stroke it and grow it. Hair, that is, those stringy locks that cascade over the shoulder or lay close cropped to the scalp. Have you ever wondered why we have it?
I figure all biological function ties back to sex in one way or another. We unconsciously process a million cues when we zero in on our mate. A heady bonnet, like a peacock’s nipply tail, signals our intentions. A carefully laid coif can unleash a lifetime of passions.
And then, in time, a few of us lose it while for others of us the color drains out. We grow older and our biological clocks tick tock down. Yet we still groom our precious hair with great care.

I cut my own hair. It usually takes me three or so days to get it right. I won’t stop cutting it though till I feel it’s perfect.
